ABOUT THE GAME

"Once upon a time in a faraway land, there was a valuable treasure, a magic crown, well-kept within the walls of the palace. The gems on this crown were rumoured to bring vast wisdom to its owner.

 

Four brave adventurers from across the kingdom came to the palace to seek the knowledge from the magic crown. To their disappointment, the gems on the crown have disappeared.

 

Who among them would be the first to restore the power of the crown?"

Inspired by the game show ”Jeopardy”, ”Battle of the Wits” is virtual trivia game that takes players along the journey of the 4 characters as they travel and uncover the knowledge across all corners of the kingdom. In this game, teams will take turn to answer questions of various different categories to be the first one arriving at the finish line.

 

The game consists of question packs covering several topics, ranging from Brainteasers, Number Sense, General World Knowledge and so on. The question packs may also be customised to test players on any topic of interest based on the event's needs.

WHY US

The game was very interesting and sufficiently challenging to keep everyone in the team motivated. I like how unique the puzzles are - really not something you can find in other escape room :) I feel that the background, music, and puzzle really match the theme and tie the story line together. Overall, a great experience and can't wait for more games in the series!

It was pretty fun and a good bonding activity for friends to play. Certain parts do require us to work together and think of the solution to help one another.

It was great! The level of difficulty was fairly tough for specific rooms especially the one with the treasure chest and I think the timing was quite suitable. It took about 45 minutes to complete it so it does give some buffer for a 1 hour game. As a non-chinese, at first it seems daunting to play the game especially with all the chinese words and characters, but once you read the clues and understand what it is asking (which is clearly stated in english) it is not difficult to navigate, help your group members and be part of the game as well.

Q: How does Virtual Game Show work?

A: Our Virtual Game Show Series is diverse in formats, mimicking well-known game shows' mechanics. The Virtual Game Show could either be used as an ice-breaker activity before other items in the programme or as a standalone game by itself. Organisers could adjust the rules flexibly depending on the time allocated for the Virtual Game Show.

​

"Battle of the Wits" is the first among our Virtual Game Show Series, where teams will take turn to answer questions of various different categories to be the first one arriving at the finish line. While we start with a fixed list of question packs, the questions will be renewed and new packs will be updated from time to time.
